We hiked the 4 C Trail over Memorial Day weekend. It was spectacular! Although late May was probably not the best time of year to hike this trail, we still had a great time. We hiked up to the Walnut Creek Campground and stayed the night before hiking back. If you are planning on hiking this trail, make sure to cache some water at any of the many road crossings. And bring tick repellent! A few of the bridges had been washed out, so if you are hiking this trail after a rain, you may have some difficulty over some of the water crossings.
